SSPS® Suite &
SSPS® Apartment

The SSPS® concept has honed the view of global change, inspiring new ways of thinking and stimulating ardent discussion. The award-winning architecture study brings together spa functions in the smallest of space and, as a result, provides a logical answer to the increasing scarcity of affordable housing. This concept has now been further developed to create a slightly larger and more minimal variant: the SSPS® Suite for hotels and the SSPS® Apartment for a holistically designed home of 35 square metres.

SSPS® Suite

Thanks to the further development of the SSPS® concept, personal spa treatments in hotel rooms and suites are possible at all times

Maximum experience quality in a space of just 8 square metres – SSPS® Suite satisfies growing demands in comfort and convenience, particularly in premium hotels. Instead of creating complex, half-open spa landscapes, there is the option to incorporate individual spa functions directly into each room – thus enabling guests to enjoy health-promoting treatments at any time of the day.

Hotel managers have to be innovative and offer their guests a qualified ambience. The open-room concept of SSPS® Suite creates a living space which can be filled with personal treasures. Clothing and items have a home in the open wardrobe, the shelves or cabinets and are immediately within sight to create an atmosphere of privacy.

The guest can find additional relaxation directly in the room, in an own SSPS®. It brings together numerous treatment possibilities in the smallest of space and can be closed off via an optional sliding door. The smart room structure of the SSPS® Suite concept guarantees several guests individual freedom for their time together, but also privacy. To ensure the toilet can be used at the same time as the bathroom, both have been designed as separate architectural units and the toilet can be closed on two sides.

Integrated rain panels, health-promoting shower treatments or a steam bath turn the hotel room into a valuable space for personal peace and comfort. Additionally, pre-programmed scenarios combining light, fragrance and sound create an emotional room experience.

SSPS® Apartment

An enhanced quality of life in the most minimal of living space – the city apartment with integrated private spa

In major cities around the world, living space is becoming increasingly scarce and the price per square metre is continually rising. People want to enjoy the advantages of the city, without compromising personal comfort. In this intelligent solution for apartments, private bathrooms satisfy every desire for health-promoting spas.

The own four walls serve as a place of peace and comfort, which we need for our well-being in times of rising everyday stress and that we seek out particularly in hectic environments. At the heart of the SSPS® Apartment concept is the support of rejuvenating treatments in a 3.5m² washing and showering area, enabling people to actively remain healthy and promote good health.

The open-room structure features a bath behind a translucent glass barrier which lets in daylight from the living area. Upon entering the dry zone with its generous washstand, the swinging door closes off the showering area, yet it can also be opened wider to comfortably move into the wet zone, featuring diverse spa functions. In addition to the Vertical Shower and the rain panel integrated into the ceiling, special massage jets stimulate various parts of the body. Additional electronically controlled water outlets are an invitation to enjoy the automated sequence showers while sitting or to benefit from invigorating leg showers. While the bathroom is occupied or during the spa treatments, the separate guest toilet (1.3m²) can be used at any time by others.

The living/sleeping area likewise guarantees an efficient use of space thanks to intelligent room architecture and fittings. A one-piece shelving unit offers a plethora of storage space from floor to ceiling: for a wardrobe and other personal items. The compact kitchen – with ideally positioned appliances in a space of 7m² – also provides plenty of room for cooking, doing the dishes and the laundry.
